Joe and Adele returned to Chester as guest teachers at Debbie Groesser’s Art Studio of Lake Almanor.
Joe and Adele often teach watercolor workshops together. Adele, author of “Painting the things you Love in Watercolor” paints on dry 300 LB paper by glazing and layering using transparent watercolor. Joe is the author of "Mastering the Watercolor Wash,". Joe works wet-into-wet on 140 LB paper. When they teach together, the students learn two different approaches to watercolor and have a lot of fun .
Both Joe and Adele paint sun up to sundown and you may have been lucky enough to catch them on the causeway, meadow or west shore, where they did many original plein air pieces of the area, which are available for sale at the Northwoods Art Gallery.
