Born in Newcastle, England in l956, Edith now lives in Susanville California with her husband George. They have two wonderful children Rachel and Scott.

Edith Schwirian started her career in the jewelry business in l984, working as an apprentice for a nationally known goldsmith. There she learned to perfect the forging technique and the art of metalsmithing. After furthering her skills at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, she set out to design her own creations. Using gold, silver and gemstones she has created a line of jewelry of her own and made countless one of a kind pieces for her customers.

Edith has had a very successful retail store in Susanville for the past 10 years, recently selling the store to spend more time on her jewelry creations. She has also been a long time jewelry arts instructor at Lassen College.
