Debbie Anderson was born and raised in Southern California. debbie started doing clay while attending art classes in high school. Debbie's mom bought her first pottery wheel and she set up a small shed for a studio while living in the Mammoth Lakes area. Debbie worked for a local pottery tradesman for firings.
Debbie moved to Susanville in 1980. Debbie had her own Pottery and Stained Glass business and attended Lassen College part-time earning an AA Degree in Art and Photography.
Debbie attended master classes across the US and became the Pottery Instructor at Lassen College in 1984. Now, Debbie is still a part time instructor at Lassen College and running her Pottery Studio at home.
Debbie loves to garden and make pottery and is inspired by the high desert colors of sage green and the golden reds of the earth in and around the Susanville area.
Debbie's Pottery is high fired porcelain, with her own glazes that are lead free and food and dishwasher safe.
Debbie has been showing and selling her pottery in Galleries and Art Shows in California for 18 years.
