The Northwoods Art Gallery was established in 1992. We are Lake Almanor's premier Art Gallery and Framing Shop.

The Northwoods Art gallery’s professional framing staff enjoys helping you choose just the right framing design for your artwork, photos or special mementos. With hundreds of mouldings to choose from you are sure to find exactly what you want.

The Northwoods Art Gallery is home to the Sony Picture Station, which allows you to print, edit, scan and store your precious photos onto CD. We offer digital restoration and enlargements as well.

Please feel free to browse through our 3500+ square feet of beautiful artwork, you are sure to find something to delight your eye and warm your heart. Wildlife Art is very popular here in Chester, and our extensive inventory offers a huge variety of subjects and styles by such well known artists as Stephen Lyman, Carl Brenders, Mathew Hillier, Daniel Smith and Nancy Glazier.

Our collection is by no means limited to Wildlife Art, we carry a large inventory of Western Art, housed in our “Western Room” including Howard Terpning Canvases and Susan Kliewer Bronzes.

Our “Garden Room” is a delight to the senses with artists Nita Engle, Susan Bourdet, Janene Grende and Steve Hanks and the room also hosts our contemporary and classic corner with two signed Salvador Dali’s and even a Rembrandt Pressing.

In addition to our two dimensional artwork we carry one of a kind wood carvings, art glass, pottery, jewelry, books, art supplies. There is truly a treasure around every corner here in the Northwoods Gallery.
